Larger homes are not just bigger versions of small ones. They need zoning, proper distribution and equipment matched to how the house is actually used.
The homes through Aspen Woods and the surrounding west side tend to be larger, with multiple levels, open volumes and a wide spread between the rooms that get sun and the ones that do not. A single thermostat trying to hold one temperature across all of that is the most common comfort complaint we hear here, and it is a design problem rather than an equipment fault.
Zoning, balanced ductwork and correctly sized equipment are the fix. Caloris works with builders and renovation companies on complete HVAC packages for custom homes, so this is familiar ground, whether the system is going in during construction or being corrected years later.
"Dan came over during a basement reno and upgraded my HVAC to multi zones. He was very helpful and took the time to help me understand by showing me how i can achieve my vision and was patient with all my questions."
"Excellent service, and high quality work! Prompt and efficient company! I would recommend to anyone who needs HVAC installation and/or maintenance."

One thermostat measuring one spot cannot represent a house with multiple levels, large open volumes and very different sun exposure room to room. Zoning divides the home so each area is controlled separately, which is usually the real fix rather than a larger furnace.
Often yes, though it is easier and cheaper when designed in from the start. We assess the existing ductwork and equipment to determine what zoning the system can realistically support, then explain the options honestly. Retrofitting zoning sometimes requires duct changes as well as controls.
