Mahogany is one of the newest communities in the southeast, so the work here is rarely about failing furnaces. It is about comfort, air quality and getting cooling right.
Mahogany went up largely through the 2010s, so the equipment in most of these houses is still young. That changes what people call us about. Instead of dead furnaces, it is uneven temperatures between floors, a builder grade humidifier that was never set up properly, dry winter air, or the question of whether the house can take air conditioning before the first hot stretch arrives.
Newer construction is also tighter, which is good for heating bills and harder on indoor air. With windows shut most of the year, the equipment moving and treating your air is doing real work. Humidifiers, filtration and proper ventilation matter more in a new Calgary home than most people expect.
"Dan came over to upgrade our humidifier and install a smart thermostat while we were renovating. He was very helpful and took the time to show us how everything works and answered all questions. Caloris prices are extremely reasonable for the excellent quality of work provided."
"Dan is a great guy with an amazing company! No surprise fees, gets the job done and makes sure it is done right before leaving. Does not rush the job for a quick buck!"

Calgary has a dry climate to begin with, and heating cold outdoor air lowers its relative humidity further. Newer homes are also built tighter. A properly installed and correctly set whole home humidifier addresses it through the ductwork rather than one room at a time.
Usually. Uneven temperatures between floors are typically a distribution problem rather than an equipment problem. Duct balancing, damper adjustment or added returns often solve it. We look at the whole system rather than just the furnace, and none of that requires replacing the equipment.
It varies. Builder grade equipment is often specified to meet code and budget rather than to suit how the house is actually lived in. We will tell you honestly whether what you have is fine, needs setup work, or is worth upgrading.
Yes. Caloris provides a two year labour warranty on all of our work. Manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself are separate and vary by brand and model, and we will explain what applies to your unit before you commit to anything.

Tell us what is going on and we will get back to you with a clear picture of what the work involves and what it costs. No pressure, and no surprise line items at the end.
